Rag House Studio Photography Studio Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions (the "Agreement") govern the provision of photography services by Rag House Studio ("the Studio") to its clients ("the Client"). By booking a session with the Studio, the Client agrees to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Some bookings may require a non-refundable booking fee to secure a photography session. This fee will be deducted from the total session cost.

  • Full payment for the session is due on receipt of invoice following image proofs.

  • The Client may reschedule the session subject to availability. Failure to provide timely notice may result in a forfeiture of the booking fee or may incur cancellation fees outlined in section 7.

  • The Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, every effort will be made to reschedule the session at the Client's convenience.

3. Session Details

  • The duration, location, and other specifics of the photography session will be agreed upon between the Studio and the Client prior to the session date.

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring punctuality. Delay may result in a reduced session duration.

  • The Client is encouraged to provide any specific requests or ideas for the session beforehand.

4. Image Delivery

  • The Studio will provide the Client with a selection of edited, high-resolution images. The exact number of images and delivery timeline will be as agreed upon in advance.

  • The Client will receive the images via online transfer.

  • The Studio retains copyright to all images and may use them for promotional and marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon.

5. Usage Rights

  • The Client is granted personal usage rights to the images provided. Commercial usage rights may be subject to additional fees.

  • The Client may not sell, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the images without written permission from the Studio.

  • The Studio is not responsible for any third-party claims related to the use of the images.

6. Liability

  • The Studio is not liable for any loss or damage to equipment, clothing, or personal items during the session.

  • The Client is responsible for the conduct of individuals participating in the session, including children and pets.

  • The Studio is not responsible for any adverse reactions to props, products, or allergens used during the session.

7. Rescheduling and Cancellation

  • In the event of a Client-initiated session cancellation, the booking fee is non-refundable.

  • If the client cancels a booking within 10 days of the shoot date, a 50% day rate fee will be applied for each canceled day.

  • If the client cancels a booking within 72 hours of the shoot date, a 75% day rate fee will be applied for each canceled day.

  • The Client may reschedule a session, subject to availability and the conditions outlined in section 2.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • The Studio respects the privacy of its clients and will not share or sell personal information or images without consent.

  • The Studio retains the right to store client data for administrative and communication purposes.

9. Governing Law

  • This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • The Studio reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance.
